Terms & Conditions For Facebook Contest EDM
1. The Organizer
The "Like Our K Box Fans Page" contest is organized by K Box Karaoke, Singapore (referred to as "K Box" or "Organizer").
2. Qualifying Period
The contest will be held from 1st July 2012 till further notice.
3. The Prize
i. $33++ worth of K Box Buffet (Marina Square outlet only) Vouchers valid for 1 month from the date of issuance.
4. Contest Eligibility
i. All Facebook members are eligible to participate. However, prizes must be redeemed in Singapore or else will be forfeited.
ii. Employees of the Organizers as well as their respective affiliated and subsidiary companies, its advertising/promotion agencies or other firms involved in the design or conduct of this campaign, their respective sales representatives, distributors, retailers, and members of the households or immediate families are not eligible to win prizes.
iii. False and/or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible. The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process. Entrants will in such event not be notified of such disqualification.
5. Contest Mechanics
i. Whether you are already a fan of the K Box Karaoke, Singapore – Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/kboxsg), “Like” our page to be eligible in the contest as well
ii. K Box will make a wall post to announce the start of the day's contest.
iii. K Box will pick 10 lucky winners in the first week of each month.
6. Prize Winners
i. Winners with contact details (email and contact number) via their Facebook account will be shortlisted.
ii. Winners will be contacted directly for collection.
iii. In the event of non-compliance with the Terms & Conditions or if the winner cannot be contacted through his/her Facebook account within 7 days of notification to the winner, or the prize is not collected at K Box Head Office within the stipulated deadline, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner at the discretion of K Box.
iv. The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash. K Box reserves the right to replace any prize with another of equivalent value without notice.
v. K Box accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize values.
vi. All ancillary costs, for example, transportation charges, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
vii. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that K Box, its subsidiaries, affiliated companies and respective advertising, promotion and distribution agencies, hosting media, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees shall have no liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use of the prizes awarded herein and acknowledges that said parties are not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or
guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or law, relative to any prize including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
viii. Acceptance of a prize further constitutes permission to use winner's name and likeness for publicity and advertising purposes without limitation and without additional compensation
(except where prohibited).
viiii. K Box shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), or for personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of collection of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
8. General
i. The Organizer reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, cancel or suspend the game should a virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of the Organizer corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the contest.
ii. The Organizer reserves the right to make any changes to the rules & regulations at any time without prior notification.
iii. The Organizer makes no warranty, either express or implied, regarding this website or any of its content, including but not limited to, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
iv. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
v. K Box grants complete release for Facebook from each entrant or participant.
vi. The laws of the Republic of Singapore shall govern the terms and conditions of this contest.
